I cannot get enough of them.

They are perfect to transition through the seasons (Currently Washington only has one season: Ugly)

They can be formal or casual. Fun and flirty. Cute and clean cut. Girly or Gritty.
Okay what other alliteration can I come up with?

Stripes are So Super.

As much as I would love to wear all of these items at once, I don't want to walk around looking like some sort of striped freak show (More than I already do, that is).

Here is an option incorporating stripes. It's fun, girly and functional. You could probably play tennis in this outfit. Okay maybe not, but beer pong. You are totally good for beer pong.

Now if you're asking yourself... "Okay, looks good on paper, but how do I execute this in real life?"
I have a prime example here of a perfectly striped beauty. She goes by the name of Carissa.

Bombshell, right? But let's be honest, Rissy would look good in anything. I think it's the legs. Or maybe it's that devilish smile of hers. 

Whatever it is... She's got me!

Day to Night

When Becka contacted me about wearing something from her fabulous store, Kiki La'rue I was going crazy trying to pick just one!
So I sent a list! I like this and this and this ohhh and this!
Becka was so sweet and suggested I review this little romper.
What I love about this romper is just how versatile it is. It is so comfortable. I felt like it could easily transition from day to night... so that is exactly what I wanted to show you!

Rompers are not only for beach wear! Although they look adorable when slipped over a bikini they have more wearability than just a day at the beach!

My day look is comprised of my favorite Sam Edelman sandals, a lightweight chambray shirt, sunglasses, a rose gold watch, my nook and of course, my sweet little bike.

I spent the afternoon reading in the shade, snapping some pictures and lounging in my hippie chic romper.

To take this little romper into night I decided to spice it up a little. Although the days of summer are warm, the nightly cool down sends shivers to your core. A blazer is necessary. Absolutely necessary.

I wanted to keep the colors neutral and light since the pattern on the romper is detail enough. I slicked back my hair, added my favorite Michael Kors watch and headed out to take myself on a hot date!

Yes.. a hot date with myself. 

These Guess heels make me feel like I have legs for days and are just high enough to attract looks from my surrounding neighbors. One who shouted, "I could take some reeeeeal good pictures for you!"

I bet you could neighbor, I bet you could.

Vlogging with Raven

The wait is over. No more pressing refresh to see if we updated our blogs. The day has come.

The Vlog with the Fabulous Raven that we have promised for... about a week now.

Warning: We are not drinking kool-aid. We might have a laugh attack every 10 seconds.

Overall we had a blast!

Kiki La'Rue

Guess what?

I made a new friend. 

No... it's not my bike. 

Her name is Rebecca and she owns a shop called Kiki La'Rue. 

She keeps her store stocked with the cutest dresses, rompers, tops, jewelry and pretty much anything fabulous and girly.

When she sent me this romper I immediately thought of doing a Day-to-Night look with it!

Weekend Rundown

This weekend was packed with friends, food and other beautiful things. I'm going to go ahead and break it down for you.

Friday. Ohhh glorious Friday! I was granted a Friday off work. What? But... I didn't ask for it? It was a beautiful thing.

1. Went to a Lift class at the gym with Katie. You know, one of those classes where you lift a million pounds and squat a million and a half... all set to music. You should see my arms. Gun Show.

2. Had a lovely engagement session with this beautiful couple

3. Took my self out on a date! I went to my favorite restaurant Italia Trattoria. I was surrounded by delicious smells, wonderful people and great wine. You really can't go wrong.

4. Then I visited some friends for drink. It was the best way to end the night. Met some great people, gawked at some eye candy and got to know a pretty sweet girl. Yeah... friends... this was just Friday.

Saturday.
1. I woke up early and started editing photos, got myself a coffee and go to work.
I seriously can't help but smile at these two.

2. Then I headed off to Taylor's bridal shower. Unfortunately I wasn't able to stay for that long but I did get to snap some pictures!

Who's the super model? Ohh that's just Taylor's mom!

3. On my way home from the party I drove past this old car and I absolutely had to turn around and take a picture. I'm pretty happy with it.

Sunday Brunch Club.

I have the greatest friends. I truly do.
We gossiped, ate great pastries and oogled the beautiful decor of Chaps. It was the best way to spend a Sunday morning.

Friday's Letters

Dear California, Why did we have to end things? We were so good together. I will keep you in my near memory, I promise. Dear people who drive in the fast lane, please understand that I don't want to pass you from the right. I would like to pass you from the left like we are supposed to. But you.. fine citizen, will not move your ass. It's just plain rude. Dear 16 (ish) hour car ride, I'm glad we got to make a few pit stops. One to see the kittys, one to get energy drinks and one to get ice cream and french fries. Thanks for the memories, but I don't think I will be doing that again any time soon. Dear Louis, Thank you for the amazing opportunities this past week. I am excited for what's to come, and even if it's nothing more... I am SO happy I got to experience everything at the Heritage House. Dear Love handles, Guess what? I've already been to the gym this morning and I am well prepared to say goodbye to you. Pack your bags, lovers... you're outta here! Dear Shalyn and Erica, Boston is nearing and I am giddy with excitement of our rendezvous!! Dear Kittys, Meeee-Yow.

Finally.

Five hours in an airport will make a person crazy.
Make you start doing/thinking/saying crazy things.
I tried to distance myself from the people

that were furious over our delay:

the restless children

the angry parents

the toe tappers

the talkatives.

So...

Pretty much everyone. 

I was off in my little corner listening to my updated playlist

and snapping pictures. 

(As you may have seen on instagram)

After a Five Hour delay
(and a $100 travel voucher)
I finally made it to California!

Only to be stuck in traffic.
Oh well. I was HERE.

We ate lunch in San Fran.
I'm not sure if it was the fact that I only ate pretzels the whole day...
but the food was magical.






I don't even think we spoke to each to each other
during lunch.
It was that good.
 We then headed toward Mendocino.
Final Destination:
The Heritage House.

We were greeted by bambi.

This is the view from my bed.
For three mornings this was my wake up call.
Dream. Come. True.


Some down time in between shooting.

I can't wait to show you the pictures of the property.
It was truly breathtaking.
I honestly woke up every morning and thought...
Is this really work?


Dream Job.

Back to real life today.
